Trip Summary

Today I had a chance to go hiking at O'reillys.  While this wasn't predominantly a wildlife trip, I was able to see some pretty great animals on the walks, particularly reptiles.

December 17, 2009 : O'Reillys, Lamington NP

I travelled up to O'reillys with some Canadian friends, mostly to show them a special place, and to let them feed the parrots, but also to do some hiking and potentially see some wildlife.  We weren't disappointed, with some great reptile sightings, the usual birds, and a beautiful day's hiking.  Highlights for me were a particularly large Land Mullet, and great views of Eastern Spinebills behaving like Nuthatch/Sitellas.
