Retired, living just out of Maffra, on the wrong side of seventy. Manage two nature reserves, the Macalister Wetland Reserve, and Bellbird Corner Riverside Reserve. Interested in anything to do with nature. Now shooting Nikon D90, Sigma 105 macro,  Nikon 70-300.

Sorry, don't have any habitat photos Reiner. The most productive area I noticed was a drain with clear shallow water and ribbon weed, roughly where the placemark is. Dowd's suffers from quite a bit of salinity at times, this probably has an effect on the ode population.

Looks like an interesting location - broad rocky river with plenty of perching opportunities (for those that like to do that) plus some vegetation nearby to hide amongst for the other species.
